One of my more interesting freelance projects was to provide visual design and some flash programming for two interactive kiosks for the Smithsonian. 

The Luce Foundation Center for American Art is the home to one of the largest and most inclusive collections of American art in the world . This kiosk was designed to allow users to dive more deeply into contextual information about the exhibits. I designed a variety of rotating introductory animated sequences highlighted some of the items to entice the viewer into diving deeper. It was basically a dream design project, as I had endless sources of gorgeous photography of stunning pieces of art. 

Another Kiosk was dedicated to an artwork entitled "MVSEVM", housed at Smithsonian's American Art Museum. The majority of this project was devoted to producing a flash film about the construction of this artwork. Some of the storyboards are pictured below.
